Well... Life is a constant surprise on it's essence.

Let's imagine you might have some talent as well as good music. You'll always listen to the same old shit "NO TECHNO!!".

For all my life, I've been facing those words as a response to many questions, but I always fought against it. I swam against the tide, that sometimes (almost none) brought me back to shore, with the same old sentence in the air, said by someone: "There's no evolution with techno.You need to evolve into something that might please a different audience".
In other and more simple words "You really need to sell yourself".

It might go against all your values as well as life conduct, but it's like a fucking dogmatic truth.

Stop for an instance. We are 10 milion on this junkyard called Portugal. There are lots of persons with lots of musical tastas. There is always room for everyone!! Everyone could play whatever they like and there would be a different view towards a good music scene environment!!!

But no... Those so-called Bosses of the scene A.K.A. Sold out" easy-money-seeker" promotors tend to fuck this up. Instead of sponsoring variety, they tend to feed the obvious; play what's associated with a stupid portuguese fashion or trend that directly gives good sums of money.

I don't consider myself narrow minded, and I know that there are serveral music styles living and coexisting... It's simple. "My" techno doesn't have it's space nor it's tolerance. As I don't spend an entire night with all my fashion friends and I don't snort blow with "Mr. Promotor X" I'll never have my space.

When the hell will this change??

Mostly oldschool stuff that had a strong role during my life. Simple, groovy, mental, hard.

Defining what I make is an hard question, so I'm sorry for giving such a brief answer!
