Rob Zombie

Rob Zombie is best known as a musician, formerly the lead singer for the band White Zombie. He's also well-known as a fan of B-movies, horror movies in particular, and over the last few years, Zombie has become a screenwriter and director himself. His first two movies were House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects, the latter of which enjoyed significant amount of success. (And the former movie was a cult classic in its own right.) Zombie has also recently directed a remake of John Carpenter's classic slasher film, Halloween . Michael Meyers was never so doarable as in that movie :D

Zombie is working on an animated film based on his comic book creation El Superbeasto. The movie is titled The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, and Rob Zombie is the writer and executive producer. It's being directed by Doug Lawrence, the voice of Plankton on SpongeBob Squarepants, and Sheri Moon Zombie is set to be the female lead.

Cant wait to see this one. I have not found any good trailer on the net, but I cant wait to see it. Anyone has seen or heard any reviews about it ??

I saw The Devil's Rejects for the first time earlier this year. Great film. That family was soo cool! I felt quite sad at the end when they die in a hail of cop bullets. They'd really grown on me (like a tumor?) and it was depressing to know I'd never see them in a film again...

Then last month my movie-watching buddy told me about House of 1000 corpses! Hoorah!! That Captain Spaulding is such a cool cat... what lovely teeth he has!!

I also watched Rob Zombie's Hallowe'en remake recently. That zombie guy really churns out the classics, huh? Must be coz he's a zombie... horror's in his blood. (Cold blood!) ;)
