Este é fantástico, mas p mim todas as obras dele sao... O meu preferido tá nas minhas fotos aki do hard candy e tmb nas minhas fotos do hi5. Só tenho pena é de nao saber qual é o título... I must admit i don't know a lot from Alex Grey, but this one here seems just perfect. I think I can get what he meant and it's genious.

Since it's so hard for me to choose one specific painting as 'my favorite' , here are 3 i really like:
Alex Grey manages to create a perfect symbiosis between the title of his drawings and his art.
1st Painting is 'White Light' .. the title speaks for itself
2nd painting is 'Wonder'.. this painting depicts the phenomena we call 'existance/life' and notice
how Alex makes the painting organic and cosmic at the same time. The night brings mysticism to the painting and the sense of awe and wonder.
3rd painting is Gaia.. Gaia also known as Mother Goddess or Earth Goddess is depicted in this drawing as The Tree of Life. As we can see, the painting is a dualism. On the left side we see the perfect cycles of nature and the leaves on the tree flourish, on the right side we see the tree is aphyllous and the branches are burning. It shows how the industrial technological civilization we live in, breaks earth's natural harmony and creates a catastrophic macabre landscape.
In the middle of the tree we have a yogi in lotus position, transcending the cosmic energies and terrestrial equilibrium. The center of the tree has the central chakra which receives and transmits subconscious cosmic messages.
